The Summer Festival at Cheshire Polo Club is more than just a vibrant polo tournament. It’s the highlight of the year!
A unique weekend of community, family, food and drink, with something for everyone, whether you are a polo fanatic or completely new to the sport, it’s a chance to see it all in a relaxed environment.

Surfing Chef Martin Taylor is passionate about championing seafood, particularly British produce. After over a decade of running some of Chester’s top kitchens and cooking for celebrities and Royalty, Martin decided to travel the world in search of surf breaks. What he discovered was that in most countries with a beach or a tidal river nearby, one can easily find affordable and quick seafood. Inspired by this observation, Martin returned to Chester and opened @the_sandbar_seafood_shack in @Chester Market, with the mission of providing accessible and delicious seafood.

This year the acclaimed Sandbar Seafood Shack is set to expand its offerings with the opening of a restaurant that specialises in Seafood here in the city of Chester. This new restaurant will showcase amazing food that celebrates local and seasonal produce.

Originally from Mumbai, Stephanie has been running her much loved and rapidly expanding business inside Chester Market providing customers classic French pastries and desserts.

Stephanie set up the business in 2019 to focus on her passion: classic French baking with an Indian twist. Stephanie also featured on Channel 4’s Aldi’s Next Big thing in 2022 and has recently featured in the Marketing Cheshire campaign for #CheshireDay.

Throughout all three days of the festival, you’ll experience live demonstrations showcasing a variety of BBQ techniques, mastering the secrets behind an authentic South African Braai.
